All-Join-In Evening of a Musical Nature

Friday, July 19 from 7 to 9:30 pm

The sounds of the Caribbean will fill the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes! Stroll along the All People’s Trail boardwalk, enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres and delight in the sounds of the steel drum artists of 7 Mile Isle as they talk about, demonstrate and play their amazing instruments. At 8:00 pm everyone joins in the fun as the whole band performs together at the Friends Pavilion.

Totally Terrific Tomatoes! They are powerhouses of nutrition and very versatile. Fresh, cooked or dried, they can be used in salads, sauces, soups and more. This class will teach ways to make the most of this tasty food including how to preserve
fresh tomatoes by dehydrating, freezing and canning. Class includes samples and recipes for home. Please register at least 3 days prior to class. $10 for members; $12 for non-members.
