
AutumnFest: Fairytales in the Forest
Saturday, 10.4 | 3–7PM | Nature Center
Join us for a magical evening in the forest celebrating the beauty of nature this fall season! This magical evening in the forest will be held, rain or shine. Activities for all ages and abilities. Food trucks, libation stations, and vendors will have items available for purchase. Costumes welcomed and encouraged!
Volunteers are needed to assist with the event! We have 2.5 hour and 4 hour volunteer shifts from 2:00pm-8:00pm. Volunteers are needed to provide information to participants, assist with crafts, assist with concessions, assist with hikes, and set up and clean up.

3 PM - 7 PM
Ticketed or paid activities: decorate a magic pumpkin, climb the enchanted beanstalk (tree climbing)*, fun face painting and glitter tattoos, concoct s'mores, make whimsical nature crafts, feast on fairy food at food trucks or grab witches brew at libation stations.
Free activities: DJ games and costume parade, story time and making with Shaker Library, and a spooktacular evening hike.
*First come first served. Weight restrictions apply. Best for children approximately 4–7 years

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE
The AutumnFest shuttle will pick up visitors from the Board of Education parking lot at 15600 Parkland Drive in Shaker Heights and drop off at the driveway of the Nature Center. The shuttle will run from 3pm to 7pm on October 4. This trip will take about 5 minutes each way.
