Join us for a FREE magical evening in the forest celebrating the beauty of nature this fall season!
Rain or shine.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the event! We have 2.5 hour and 4 hour volunteer shifts from 2:00pm-8:00pm. Volunteers are needed to provide information to participants, assist with crafts, assist with concessions, assist with hikes, and set up and clean up. REGISTER HERE.
3 PM - 7 PM
This FREE magical evening in the forest will be held, rain or shine. Activities for all ages and abilities. Food trucks, libation stations, and vendors will have items available for purchase. Costumes welcomed and encouraged!
Decorate a magic pumpkin, climb the enchanted beanstalk (tree climbing), take a spooktacular evening hike, face painting, concoct s’mores at the fire breathing dragon pit, make a children’s craft, feast on fairy food at food trucks or grab witches brew at libation stations.
3 PM - 5 PM
Shop a mini version of our popular Spring Plant Sale featuring plants suited for fall planting. We will have a limited selection of Ohio native perennial species available, many of which we do not typically have at our spring sale. We'll have several types of milkweed, ironweed, blue lobelia and more. The sale will take place in the pavilion. The sale is great chance to pick up some plants for fall color.
3 PM - 7 PM
Guests can also plan to feast on fairy food or grab witches brew at the libation station.

The AutumnFest shuttle will pick up visitors from the Board of Education parking lot at 15600 Parkland Drive in Shaker Heights and drop off at the driveway of the Nature Center. The shuttle will run from 3pm to 7pm on October 7th! From AutumnFest, this trip will take about 5 minutes one way.
